Act as a subject matter expert (SME) with expertise in the field of cyber security, auditing and am a technical authority in the specialized field of information systems audits. Staying knowledgeable and tuned in to current and developing federal regulations as they pertain to cyber security in the nation and, more specifically the nuclear and electrical transmission industry is paramount tomy role within the cyber security group and the company.Most recently I have been charged with development of a cyber‐security plan, policies, and procedures that incorporate federal regulations. One of the current challenges is to perform deterministic assessments of all systems and associated digital assets at the plant. This effort includes assessing the application of administrative and technical controls for dozens of systems that contain several hundred digital devices. Other duties include assisting with the development of a defense in depth architecture that includes cyber security awareness training and implementation of security appliances and software in order to enhance network security.
