W.D.(Bill) Mills, is Senior Vice President at SIA Group, where he has been a key leader since joining the firm in 2003. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW), Bill earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration while competing as a scholarship athlete on the men’s soccer team, lettering all four years.Bill holds multiple industry designations, including Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), Personal Lines Coverage Specialist (PLCS), Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA), and Small Business Coverage Specialist (SBCS). He is also a graduate of the Appalachian State University Insurance Executive Program.Deeply committed to community involvement, Bill currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Jacksonville Area Soccer Association. His past leadership roles include serving on the boards of the UNCW Seahawk Club, Safeco Southeast Region Council, the City of Jacksonville Fire Safety Advisory Board, the Onslow County Fire and Rescue Commission, and the Jacksonville-Onslow Economic Development Committee of 100.Bill lives in Swansboro, North Carolina, with his wife, Julie, and their three sons.
