Leading West Virginia’s statewide strategy and delivery of FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) programs to reduce long-term disaster risk. I manage grant programs including the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) valued at $102M, Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) valued at $2.5M, Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA)- Swift Current valued at $655K, and the STORM Revolving Loan Fund valued at $9M, totaling responsibility of $114M+ in disaster mitigation funding. I\'m supported by a terrific team of subject matter experts consisting of five project officers and one community planner. I coordinate with FEMA Region and support communities in building resilient infrastructure and safer futures. Focused on collaboration, compliance, cost-effectiveness, and innovation in disaster risk reduction.
