Responsible for managing all aspects of various business processes and procedures used by the Supplier Quality organization. I work on continuous improvement of existing processes as well as leading cross-functional teams in the development of new processes and procedures. A key focus of my role includes integration of these processes with SQ organizations in other regions. In addition, I will frequently be required to provide training to the SQ organization, other organizations within FCA, and the supply base on SQ business processes within NAFTA and globally.

ABOUT BILL JONES
The experience and tools that I have absorbed during my earlier working years in Chrysler with regard to lean manufacturing and problem solving have been put to use with FCA suppliers. My main objective as Supplier Quality Engineer/SQ Business Ops is to teach lean concepts and help create a more efficient workforce in order to receive the optimal return with regards to commodities purchased and utilized by FCA. I plan on utilizing my lean skills and Six Sigma practices towards continuous improvement and obtaining the ultimate customer satisfaction with FCA customers. There are two main characteristics that need to be understood and stressed when it comes to the supply base and expectations.#1 is Safety and #1A is Quality. Ultimately, there needs to be a mutual understanding and good communication between Supply Chain and Supplier Quality. The goal is to make the customer extremely satisfied with our product and have the urge to return while bringing others with them as well.
