Our Story started where most food stories do, the LOVE of bringing people together to share a good meal and to spend some time together. This was the way it was growing up. The family gathered around the table on Sunday evenings to spend some time with each other. This LOVE of bringing a few moments of happiness grew into a passion for food and for different flavors and textures. We found that when we had a BBQ there were those who loved the Memphis Style BBQ sauces and there were the diehards who loved the Carolina sauces. There was always that fine line that people would never budge from. So, what we did is we blended the best of both worlds to bring harmony to this complex BBQ problem. We drew on the flavors and smokiness of the Memphis, took the twang and a bit of heat from Carolina, added coarse spices to give a lot of taste and of finished it off with the Love of our Past. Our base sauce \"Southern Fusion\" is that perfect combination of flavors, our \"Blueberry Blast\" adds a finish of blueberries to the BBQ to give it a great finish for chicken and other meats and our \"CROSSFIRE HOT!\" which has a good kick of spice and is not for the meek! The Happy Hog Team!
