Bill is a Managing Director in Citrin Cooperman\'s Risk Advisory practice with 20 years of experience in Risk Advisory and Internal Audit solutions. Bill is based in the Washington D.C. metropolitan market, where he serves as Chairman of the Board of the Northern Virginia Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Bill is a proud alumnus of Virginia Tech, where he obtained a B.S. degree in Accounting & Information Systems.Bill focuses on helping companies with Risk Advisory solutions including implementation and optimization of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance programs, the delivery of outsourced and co-sourced internal audit, public company transformation, IT governance, and data privacy. Bill has worked with organizations across a wide variety of industries, including financial services, government contracting, private equity, business intelligence, hospitality, manufacturing, real estate investment, technology, and not-for-profit. Bill has served as a core team member in Year 1 SOX risk assessments and initial public offering (IPO) initiatives for large, multi-national companies.
