About Bill Gubrud

I am the founder and co organizer of Out at Wrigley, first ever gay day at a sporting venue in the world. I formed the non profit National Gay and Lesbian Sports Hall of Fame. I worked in ad sales at Chicago\'s number one gay newspaper the Chicago Free Press from to 2006. I sold over in ad sales two consecutive years. I sold more in ad revenue than all other sales people in my tenure there. I also created many events while I was there and negotiated many sponsorships.

Equally important to our work with children and parents is the sense of connection we foster among families. At Tuesday’s Child, we understand that parenting a child with behavioral or developmental differences can feel isolating, so we prioritize community-building alongside skill development. We want every family that joins us to feel more deeply connected—to each other, to other families who understand their journey, & to our welcoming Tuesday’s Child community. Providing expert support with a relationship-centered approach, Tuesday’s Child helps families build skills that lead to lifelong success in an inclusive environment that celebrates minds of all kinds!
