   The Civic Canopy

   The Civic Canopy provides a way for the many to work as one for the good of all. Beginning as a volunteer network of hundreds of individuals and organizations seeking to work more collaboratively and effectively to address community issues, we have evolved into a go-to civic resource in the state for building a better civic infrastructure. The Canopy incorporated in 2008 as a Colorado nonprofit organization that supports a network of individuals, organizations, and institutions dedicated to improving the civic health of our communities. We facilitate public processes that help diverse partners work collaboratively toward common goals, measure their progress, and adapt their practices to achieve greater impact. While our projects range from school reform to mental health systems integration to neighborhood safety, in each of them we draw upon best-practice research in collaborative process design to achieve greater results.
