About Bill Fuertges

As a Director in A&M\'s Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) group, I bring nearly 20 years of diverse experience in advising CFOs, sponsors, and management teams of private equity-owned companies through complex transformations and transactions. My areas of focus include liquidity and working capital optimization, interim management, budgeting and long-range planning, IPO readiness, strategic planning, financial reporting and close improvement, and finance organization design and assessment. Prior to joining A&M, I spent twelve years in Controllership, Treasury and FP & A roles including a private-label beverage manufacturer where I served most recently as Vice President which included responsibility for the FP & A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury and Compliance functions. I began my career with PwC in Chicago, spending more than five years on financial audits. I earned my MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and my Bachelor’s degree from the Miami University (OH) Farmer School of Business. I am also a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
