About Bill Elmore
Currently I work with five clients in Clinical Research and Device Development. I am very fortunate to have worked at public, private, and non-profit research organizations in finance and operations as COO, CFO, VP, and Director. In all my roles as a consultant and an employee, I handled strategy and detail execution as well as working as a team member with other leaders. My strengths have allowed me to step up to help resolve tough issues that usually require problem solving internally and externally. These activities have allowed me to make substantial and measurable contributions in Finance, Operations, and Business Development. My turn around and efficiency improvement work have been in numerous industries and for large organizations with $1B in revenue to start-up companies with less than 5 employees. At CROS/AROs and Sites (large health systems and small SMOs) I have been involved in all areas of research – operations, finance, business development, contracts, HR, IT, and overall strategy both in the US and internationally. I have also performed similar duties in other industries mainly in technology sectors. My M&A work has involved everything from strategic plans, valuations, and due diligence before and after closing deals. I enjoy being around smart dedicated professionals including my wife at UNC, our PhD daughter teaching at Cornell, and our MD son at Memorial Sloan Kettering as neuro-oncology fellow.
