An interactive music and cultural webzine set up and run by myself and a team of enthusiastic sub editors its mainly based in Cardiff, attracting over two hundred young writers and contributors we have built up a position of respect within the world of music. Former contributors going on to write and work for the likes of the NME, Guardian, Mean Fiddler, Quietus, Spin and many more. During my time editing and running, GIITTV zine, I have proofed and sub-edited other people’s writing, whilst producing my own content for site for the last three years. These have included features, interviews, and live and record reviews. We have received and covered artists from most of the large and independent record labels for nearly 10 years. We have also promoted gigs, and released a record. We have constantly sought to find the best in unsigned talent, leading us to promote the likes of The Arctic Monkeys, The Long Blondes, The Donde Stars, Reverend and the Makers, Frightened Rabbit long before many other publications.I have recently interviewed the likes of Frightened Rabbit, Euros Childs, Ash, Idlewild, Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly, The Animal Collective, Butcher Boy, Das Wanderlust, The Hot Puppies, Peter Hook and Devo.
