Selected to develop and build a world class security organization from the ground up at Pratt & Whitney’s new 1mm square foot, state of the art aerospace plant in Asheville, NC; hired fulltime by P&W 5/22• Manage start-up of contract security and emergency response personnel at the construction site effectively transitioning from construction site to DOD aerospace facility through effective planning, all while managing to budget• Lead project team consisting of architects, engineers as well as P&W IT and Global Security Technology experts to develop a world class site electronic security system including access control, HD video and 24/7 Operations Center and then project managed integrator to completion• Consult with Global Security Threat Intelligence on developing information and trends around Asheville’s community of activists and protest groups and then briefing Asheville leadership and employees on proper interaction/response; plan and coordinate protest security posture during publicized VIP visits and special events• Create and leading Asheville’s Emergency Response Sub-Committee; developing and implementing the site ERP and building relationships with law enforcement and emergency response partners• Led sophisticated team of private security professionals to locate and supply more than 100 Pratt & Whitney/RTX employees in Western NC who were unaccounted for in the days following Hurricane Helene when communications, utilities and roads were down. Efforts were recognized as a winner of a 2025 Pratt & Whitney President’s Leadership Award as a member of the Asheville Humanitarian Recovery Team
