I’ve spent my career leading teams and organisations at moments where timing, people and pressure collide.From growing up in a family-run theme park to becoming its Managing Director, I learned early what it takes to stay steady when the stakes are high. During Covid, I oversaw the sale of the business, safeguarding 700 jobs and guiding the organisation through integration under new ownership.Since then, I’ve worked alongside family-owned businesses, served as a trustee in the charity sector, and managed large-scale public firework displays as a BPA-qualified pyrotechnician with ADR and NEBOSH credentials.Across all of it, the common thread is consistent:• Calm judgement under pressure• Clarity in complex environments• A deep respect for safety, governance and reputation• An ability to build trust that lasts beyond the projectI understand founder-led organisations.
