Also responsible for making sure they ran where and when they wanted, while being on call 24/7 for any issues or money the drivers might need- As an Agent, I am responsible for managing existing accounts and finding new accounts with consistent or increasing margin/revenue, andcustomer service/relations- I have experience with all types of customers, potential, old, or new, with positive outcomes. Day to day, I contact all of my accounts, take the freight from the customer, and handle all rate negotiationsand all customer/carrier issues- Utilize variety of customers\' websites where I must update each load that I take from the customer, with all pertinent information, charges, and OS & D\'s- I receive and handle all aging reports, past due amounts, and any carrier/driver fees associated with my accounts- I handle all types of freight and equipment, TL or LTL- I work on social networking/marketing and advertising to help generate new business. I am always writing down new ideas, researchingindustry fluctuations, and working on strategic sales ideas for the continued success and advancement of our company.
