About Bill Ashenhart
On January 3, 2021 I transitioned to a semi-retired status. I have had a fantastic career in the field of heat transfer and have had the opportunity to travel, meet, work with and become friends with a multitude of people all over the world. I say that I am semi-retired because although I am no longer in the daily business of working on projects I continue to be associated with and will be working on \"special projects\" for S&B Engineers and Constructors, LTD. A total of forty five years in the thermal and mechanical design of heat transfer equipment and pressure vessels for the petrochemical and process industries. This experience includes eight years of shop experience in mechanical and thermal design of shell and tube exchangers and over thirty five years of E&C experience (with 30 of those years at S&B). I am knowledgeable in the thermal and mechanical design of shell and tube exchangers, double pipe exchangers, air-cooled exchangers, plate and frame exchangers, spiral exchangers, electric process heaters, cooling water towers, steam boilers, fired heaters and heat recovery equipment.

Providing consulting services as owners engineer with focus on over-sight & review of heat transfer equipment for the Woodfibre LNG export facility is being built on the site of the former Woodfibre pulp mill site, which is located about seven kilometers southwest of Squamish, B.C.This is an as-needed basis to provide support to the project.
