ABOUT BILGE UGURSU

In my current role at Novogene Europe, I bridge advanced genomics technologies with the research needs of academic, clinical, and biopharma partners across the Berlin-Brandenburg region. My role integrates scientific strategy and business development to accelerate the application of high-throughput sequencing in translational and basic research. With a background in neuroimmunology and extensive experience in single-cell transcriptomics, I provide expert consultation on NGS project design from sample preparation and library construction to platform selection, sequencing strategy, and downstream bioinformatics analysis. My aim is to empower impactful research with robust, reproducible, and data-driven solutions. Core focus areas: • Scientific consultation across the full NGS workflow, including platform selection, study design, assay optimization, and multi-omics data interpretation. • Account leadership encompassing project coordination, account expansion, relationship management, growth operations and regional business development. • Strategic consultation and NGS project management for integrating multi-omics approaches especially into neuroscience, oncology, and immunology research. • Technical troubleshooting and scientific support throughout the research lifecycle to ensure project success.
