Write complex SQL queries in Teradata and MS SQL Server to create free form intelligent cubes in Microstrategy from business data sources to support different kinds of reporting needs. • Create/update documents, reports and dossiers in Microstrategy using data cubes and schema objects to provide data grids, bar charts, line charts, scattered plot and heat map visualizations for end users. • Setup requirement gathering sessions with end users in business to understand their needs to create reports that provide insightful information to assist management with effective decision making. • Communicating with SMEs to understand the underlying system issues and making necessary modifications to provide an efficient solution to business problems within budget and deadlines. • Summarize vast amounts of in-store and operations data from different sources to develop reports and models to solve business problems. • Recommend and assist higher management in creating new processes, improve efficiency, ensure accuracy, timely communication to escalate and reduce the risk in end-to-end implementation solutions. • Maintain requirement documents by updating changes, tracking open issues, and notifying internal teams of changes resulted due to change in business policies, processes and procedures. • Develop and test prototypes for business users for quick analysis of business problems and solutions.
