About Bilese Dinsa

Bilese Dinsa is a master’s student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, with a minor in Computer Science. She thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments and is motivated by solving real-world engineering problems in medical devices.She has multiple internship experiences across R&D, systems engineering, and design assurance in the medical device industry. Her work has included developing and validating catheter test methods, supporting system verification, improving detection accuracy in diagnostic instruments, and conducting benchtop and preclinical testing. She brings a strong foundation in experimental design, data analysis, and translating engineering requirements into reliable device performance.Her interests include cardiovascular devices (interventional and peripheral), surgical robotics, and emerging technologies such as generative AI in medical devices. Bilese is also driven by a commitment to equity and is passionate about contributing to medical technologies that better serve diverse and underrepresented patient populations.
