In my role at Chalhoub Group, I lead the development of a flexible and scalable architecture for our ecommerce platform. I’m responsible for guiding a talented team of five developers, working on both the front-end and back-end, ensuring that our solutions are both innovative and reliable.I’ve been deeply involved in building a system that uses technologies like React.js, Node.js, and GraphQL, supported by cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, and managed with Terraform. A significant part of my work includes creating microservices that can easily connect with different ecommerce engines, like Commerce Tools, SFCC, and Shopify.Beyond the technical side, I focus on team development, helping my colleagues grow their skills with our tech stack. I also put a lot of effort into making sure our systems are fast and dependable, with a strong observability setup to keep everything running smoothly. One of our major achievements was delivering our first brand (devialet.sa) in just three months, a testament to our efficient and collaborative approach.My experience covers both front-end and back-end development, cloud infrastructure, CICD pipelines with GitLab, and TDD, all while fostering a supportive and growth-focused environment.
