I started my career in the pre-ChatGPT era, building systems the traditional way, which gives me a strong grounding in fundamentals. Today, I deliberately work AI-first, using LLMs as force multipliers for productivity, reasoning, and decision-making, while staying clear-eyed about their limits.My strength is product-minded engineering. I translate ambiguous business problems into concrete system designs, make explicit trade-offs between accuracy, latency, cost, and reliability, and take responsibility for what goes live. I focus less on isolated models and more on how systems behave in the real world under load, with messy data, shifting requirements, and actual users.I spend most of my time at the intersection of:Product & System Design: defining problem boundaries, shaping inputs/outputs, designing workflows, and ensuring the product delivers measurable value.LLM & Agentic Systems: prompt engineering, tool orchestration, memory, fine-tuning (LLaMA-family models), and embedding-based retrieval using vector databases.Data Engineering: batch and real-time pipelines, schema design, data quality, observability, and failure handling.Backend & Infra: FastAPI, async services, background workers, Docker, Linux, Nginx, and cloud deployments on AWS & GCP.I thrive in lean teams where engineers own outcomes, not just code.
