About Bikash Sahoo
Passionate about bridging the gap between education and employment, I work as an Apprenticeship Adviser at Skills India Foundation, where I lead the Apprenticeship vertical for Thane, Mumbai and Raigad districts, focusing on engineers and graduates. My mission is to enhance the employability of students and colleges through Apprenticeships and Internships, with a particular emphasis on the ITES and BFSI sectors. This initiative is part of the Skill India program under the Board of Apprenticeship Training (W.R.), Mumbai, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.Beyond my professional work, I serve as VP at sMiles Foundation, where I dedicate my efforts to advancing education for the underprivileged and marginalized. Through initiatives like Short Term Internships, Meaningful IVs, Skill Training in collaboration with private players, Research Projects, and Alumni Engagement, I aim to create opportunities for at-risk youth.In 2015, I co-founded EduMaan Training Services, focusing on \"Skilling for Employability\" with an integrated approach centered on the Four Es: Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Empowerment.Let’s connect and explore ways to create more opportunities for the youth of India- Feel free to customize it further if needed!

We work with different stakeholders of the employment ecosystem: Educational institutes, Corporates and Startups/SMEs to bridge the gap between the demand and supply.EduMaan Training Services, a social enterprise founded in year 2015 is focused on skilling for employability. It is a skill development partner to the GOI under the flagship program-“Skill India”. EduMaan supports multiple vocational institutes with the Government affiliation and accreditation.
