Gauge Requirement identification based on critical characteristic of the drawing. Gauge design/ drawing checking starting from ‘Concept Designing’ up to finalization. DVP Preparation and creation of Testing Schedule as per DVP. Preparing Inspection Standards for various stages of Inspection (In-coming, In-process & Final). Gauge development starting from Arranging Quotation, PO, Receipt of Gauges and Gauge Validation (Thru CMM) up to hand over to the line. Identification of New Testing Equipment (if required) according to DVP and arranging all those starting from sourcing, quotation, Installation upto successful running. Ensuring on time conduction of all the tests according to DVP and preparation, submission of reports to the customer. Single window person for set up of R&D Laboratory. Responsible for all testing and inspection related activities e.g. CMM, VMS, HG, VC, WL Scanning in the department. Planning, arranging quotation and ensuring on-time conduction of all Outside Laboratories testing as per DVP or various Standards. Convening CFT meeting for preparation of DFMEA & PFMEA. CAPA/ RCA analysis report. Ensuring all testing equipment, Instruments and other machineries are in working condition in the laboratories including AMC, Calibration. Doing Continuous interaction with Customer throughout all APQP development phases, attending meeting with customer along with CFT team and visit to customer end, if required. Responsible for all prototype part development from outside suppliers through SLA, SLS, machining, Investment Casting, sheet metal. Looking after all IPR (Intellectual Property Right) related activities like patent filing, patent search & regular interaction with Patent consultant. New supplier searching, continuous interaction with suppliers & continuous follow up. Well conversant with GD & T & giving training to juniors. Give training to Junior on various topic like APQP, GD & T, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, IPR etc.
