ABOUT BIJAN S.
With over 6 years of experience in research and development of autonomous navigation systems for vehicles and robots, I am a passionate and innovative software development engineer at Amazon Robotics. My mission is to create and implement state-of-the-art SLAM solutions that enable safe and efficient mobility for Amazon\'s robotic fleet. As a PhD holder in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, I have a strong background in Model Predictive Control, Motion Planning, and Real-Time Control. I have published multiple papers in prestigious journals and filed two patents in the field of dynamic task sequencing and data capture illumination control. I have also led and contributed to several projects involving the design, simulation, and testing of electromechanical systems for autonomous navigation. At Amazon Robotics, I work with a talented team of engineers and researchers to develop and optimize algorithms and software for SLAM. I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new challenges in the fast-growing and dynamic field of robotics.
