ABOUT BIJAN DASTGHEIB
An experienced general surgeon with a special interest in quality and safety in healthcare. As a Surgical Analyst, I have applied my extensive experience and credentials as a general surgeon to enhance the quality and safety of surgical care. I have been working at The International Centre for Surgical Safety (ICSS) since March 2015, where I conduct in-depth analysis and evaluation of surgical procedures using data sources. My mission is to reduce errors and adverse events and improve technical and non-technical performance in surgery. I hold an AFSA in Pediatric Surgery from Université Paris Descartes and an AFSA in Visceral Surgery from Pierre and Marie Curie University. I am also a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), which demonstrates my competence and professionalism in the Canadian medical system.
