I founded BigCatRescue.org with my daughter, Jamie Veronica on 11/4/1992 with the rescue of a bobcat named Windsong. This sanctuary has rescued more than 250 lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars, snow leopards, clouded leopards, cougars, bobcats, servals, caracals, bobcats, ocelots, fishing cats, jungle cats, leopard cats, and hybrid cats, as well as more than 750 domestic cats and kittens. In 2019 we opened the world\'s first Augmented Reality Zoo at the Westfield Citrus Park Shopping Center to illustrate how zoos of the future can engage and inspire without holding exotic cats captive.
