   I am a partner in the employment litigation practice. I focus on employment trials, arbitrations and mediations, defending employers against employment claims, wage and hour claims and class actions, and consumer class actions. In the past, I also defended employers in workers’ compensation claims and general litigation. I also previously performed post-foreclosure evictions, defended property owners in housing discrimination cases, and defended clients against claims of catastrophic injuries, personal injuries, and mass toxic torts. My current focus is the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, to include gender, pregnancy, race, ancestry, color, religion, age, national origin, sexual orientation, and disability claims, wrongful termination claims, whistleblower claims, wage and hour claims, class actions, FLSA collective actions, PAGA actions, ADA claims, harassment, and retaliation claims. I represent employers in administrative actions before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. Department of Justice, National Labor Relations Board, Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and the California Labor Commission. I provide advice and counsel to employers and conduct sexual harassment prevention training in Vietnamese. I recently negotiated the dismissal of a class action and prevailed on summary judgment on behalf of an individual supervisor sued for age-based harassment, disability-based harassment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. I also recently obtained a dismissal on behalf of a company sued for negligent supervision and retention.
