ABOUT BIBEK CHATTOPADHYAY

Bibek Chattopadhyay is driving the world of communication over three decades. He has been heading Corporate Communications Departments for the past 20 years. His specific strength is to design 360 degree media strategy and integrated communication planning. He has also lead several campaigns on Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and has fairly good exposure in the world of Corporate Affairs. In the past Bibek had set up Corporate Communication Department for many leading organizations in the country i.e Tech Mahindra ( A JV company with Mahindra and Mahindra & British Telecom), subsequently for Vedanta Group and South Asian operations of Holcim Inc. In his previous innings. Currently, he is developing a new brand in India of two leading multinationals Steel Manufactures I.e ArcelorMittal and Nippon Steels. Bibek believes that a strong corporate brand strategy can add significant value in terms of helping the entire corporation to implement the long-term vision, create unique position in the market place of the company and its brands, and not the least to unlock the leadership potential within the organization. Hence a Corporate Branding strategy can enable the corporation to further leverage on its tangible and non-tangible assets leading to branding excellence throughout the corporation. For him, relevance of communication strategy is a significant contributor to the business goals of an organisation and raises the bar to position as a strategic function at the executive board level. Moreover leverage on effective and innovative internal communication tools to manage and motivate the human capital in a knowledge economy.
