I have 15 years experience as a Data & BI Engineer across the solution delivery pipeline - from working with business leads to identify KPI\'s and analytical reporting objectives, to working on backend storage and ingestion pipelines. Recent examples include- BI Architect & primary developer on Power BI based enterprise executive dashboard project for construction materials distributor. Responsible for solution architecture, BI data model, DAX coding of measures, build out of visualizations, gateway configuration, capacity forecasting, and license model recommendations. Some build stats: 44 tables, 463 measures, 96 bookmarks, and “floating” custom global filter panel- As Solutions Architect, conducted assessment of Urbanstem’s Looker based subscription reporting and dbt data delivery pipeline on AWS Redshift. Advised on pipeline modularization and transfer of business logic from Looker to dbt. Identified instance cleanup opportunities via Looker python/sdk utilities- As Solutions Architect/Senior BI Engineer, I led the ChartIO to Looker platform conversion for WePay’s card payment reporting application. I trained and coached WePay developers in LookML development, derived table construction with Liquid templating, advanced visualizations, and embedded calculations. In less than 2-months, we built 32 dashboard pages, 81 single tile KPI\'s, multi-value visualizations, and 100+ measures- I served as Data Engineer on a project to extract email campaign data from the Salesforce/Pardot application API and post to Snowflake. Deployed a serverless python based data pipeline via AWS Lambda functions- As the sole architect/developer for an external customer facing dashboard based on MicroStrategy Dossier, I worked in rapid iterations with the senior product marketing team throughout the project, often performing live \"tweaks\" during our sprint reviews.Google Cloud certifications: LookML Developer, Professional Data Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, Assoc.
