About Bianca McCartt
Inventing a more sustainable future of flight requires top global engineering talent. In her role leading the Edison Engineering Development Program at GE Aerospace, Bianca McCartt works directly with early career engineers to support their growth, technical development, and network-building. Bianca’s efforts to advance careers for engineers with a variety of technical experiences has been a key highlight of her 20+ year career at GE Aerospace. Prior to her current role, Bianca was the Customer Technology Programs Services Technical Process Leader for GE90 and GP7200 product lines, led Technical Capability Review processes, and held positions in design and analysis of engine structures, combustion, and turbine airfoils. She received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Kentucky before joining GE Aerospace’s Edison Engineering Development Program. Bianca served a two year term on the Board of Directors for the Society of Women Engineers.
