Lead developer of Guide to Expanding Mitigation: Making the Connection to Faith-Based Partners which was distributed to a listserv of over partners & is still being rolled out as one of FEMA’s strategies against combatting climate change-Developed methodology for conducting special studies & analyses of information on climate adaptation strategies in different parts of the faith-based, community-based, & government sectors throughout the United States-Prepares authoritative information, evaluations, & recommendations on all phases of operations for use in setting priorities & meeting national climate adaptation objectives. · Chosen as part of team to provide feedback on comments from public regarding the Community Disaster Resilience Zones Act · Member of Building Resilient Infrastructure & Communities Virtual National Review Panel in the first year of its creation.· Advises senior management in the FEMA Administrator’s Office on steps to take to ensure the faith- & community-based non-profit sector is included in efforts to combat climate change.· Advises senior management & provided support & slides for multiple Multi-Faith & Community Leaders Climate Resilience Roundtables, engaging with the non-profit, local, state, & federal government communities.· Advises on the development of long- & short-range planning efforts & serves as the subject matter expert for areas related to climate adaptation; researching trends & patterns in non-profit sector requirements; analyzes problems, issues & requirements to ensure the non-profit community remains educated on all federal funding available to them for climate adaptation.· Participates in meetings & prepares follow-up reports on confidential action items within the FEMA Administrator, DHS Secretary & White House Faith-Based office’s priorities. This includes meeting with NOAA, USACE, EPA, & other federal agencies on a regular basis.
