Over the past decade, I’ve built and led mission-driven organizations, founded new initiatives, and advised others on strategy and growth. Currently, I work with Animal Alliance of Canada, a national organization specializing in legislative and policy advocacy for the protection of animals, combining evidence-based research, stakeholder collaboration, and direct engagement with all levels of government to advance humane, effective, and accountable animal protection policy.My previous experience in the veterinary sector included clinical operations in emergency medicine and neurology, and now focuses on community-based access-to-care programs serving remote and underserved regions. I’m focused and passionate about building sustainable models that improve outcomes for animals and the people who care for them.My independent research explores the intersection of AI, animal welfare, and policy, including the ethical design and governance of emerging technologies and the advancement of New Approach Methodologies in science. I’m especially interested in how responsible AI systems can strengthen veterinary care, research, and decision-making across sectors.
