A Biochemical Engineer passionate about environmental sustainability and expertise in designing efficient and effective wastewater treatment processes. I began my journey with a fascination for the intricate world of microorganisms intrigued by their role in breaking down organic matter. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in biological process design for wastewater treatment. I’ve worked on projects addressing pollution control from municipal and industrial wastewater sources. My focus is on crafting innovative solutions that balance environmental impact, regulatory compliance, and resource efficiency. My areas of expertise include biological treatment fundamentals, modelling and design, reaction kinetics, bacterial growth modelling, reactor hydraulics, mass balance, and heat balance. With sustainability in mind, my wastewater treatment plants design focus on water availability, energy efficiency, and resource recovery. I have worked on various treatment Processes such as aerobic and anaerobic suspended growth systems, activated sludge systems, trickling filters, cutting-edge technologies like membrane bioreactors (MBRs), Moving Bed Bioreactors (MBBR), fluidized bed bioreactors, and stabilization of sludge.
