ABOUT BHUSHAN PARDESHI

Associate Professor in the Accounting and Financial Management Area at the S.B. Patil Institute of Management. I am currently the HOD-Research of the PG Research Centre in Management at SBPIM. I was fortunate to work in organisations which started its journey as a small but soon become the dominant player in the mutual fund distribution and financial services industry. In the last few assignments of my 20-plus years of corporate plus academics career, including portfolio management, client-relations, leading and driving the first line and second line force team.I obtained my doctorate in Financial Management from the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, India, in 2016. I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration in Financial Management from Sinhgad Institute of Management, Pune, India. My current areas of teaching and research are Managerial Accounting, Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Business Analytics, Financial Health Analysis, Social Networks Analytics and R Programming. I am recognized as Ph.D. Supervisor in Financial Management subject from Savitribai Phule Pune University. In 2017, I was conferred the ‘Young Scientist/Travel Grant’ by the Savitribai Phule Pune University. I have undertaken consulting and research projects for organizations like MadhuMudran (Market Research project), Sri Sudarshan Enterprises (Market Research Project), Prad Tooling Pvt. Ltd (Raising of capital and financial management). I am engaged as a facilitator and mentor for entrepreneurs, startups, incubators, researchers and academia. My research has been published in international and national journals of repute such as Finance India and other journals including Scopus indexed and UGC CARE. My research papers have been published in the conference proceeding of IIM Shillong (Emerald Publishing), IIT Roorkee (Springer Nature). I have presented the research papers in Many International and national conference organized by IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore, IIM Shillong, IIM Jammu, IIM Trichy, IIT Roorkee and IIF, New Delhi.
