Move fast and Build Things!” I have been very fortunate to have been able to do this throughout my career.From pioneering switching for Enterprise Campus, Data Center, SDN to hyperscaler cloud infrastructure and Apps to Multi Access and Edge Computing now rapidly building innovative products.If only two words were allowed to sum up Bhushan then \"problem solver\" would be how one would describe Bhushan. Currently at Azure he is innovating for Edge Computing with 5G, multi access, secure and reliable connectivity for Industry 4.0 Applications. At VMware, Bhushan lead and managed a team that built the industry’s first OpenConfig (gNMI, gNOI) based Network Fabric Controller for DC Fabrics. This product builds, monitors (via streaming telemetry) and maintains a Network Fabric (underlay) built using vendor agnostic switches. Seamless integration with vCenter and NSX-T provides end-to-end visibility and control. At AWS he lead and managed the team that built innovative SDN and Telemetry solution for Inter-AZ and Border of AWS Cloud. Bhushan was lead architect of and manager of team that built Open Daylight Controller and Nexus Data Broker. Bhushan helped shape Cisco\'s SDN Strategy.Bhushan is an innovator, inventor who not only conceives but delivers solutions and products. He is a dynamic engineer who is results driven, technically savvy and focused on creating value for customers. Bhushan specializes in defining innovative technologies harnessing them to solve real problems. He is a leader of high-performing teams, intensely focused on the cultivation of new ideas and productization of disruptive technologies. His career spans leadership roles across Public cloud, Private cloud, Data Centers, Enterprise/Campus and Service Provider. He is equally apt at various networking technologies from Ethernet (LAN) to MPLS (WAN) and TCP/IP. Prior to his current role in SDN, Bhushan has worked on defining data fabric networks for Massively Scalable Data Centers (MSDC) at Cisco.Bhushan joined Cisco as Catalyst 6500 was being conceived and as a key member of that team he was instrumental in defining several innovations into the four generations of the products. His 12 and counting patents cover several of those innovations. Bhushan is an Open Source committer on the Open Daylight Project, under Linux Foundation and was instrumental in putting together this key SDN Consortium.
