Bhusan Gupta is a seasoned technologist who is passionate about bringing technology to realization. He has broad-based experience in hardware, PCB, software and IC design. He has managed organizations ranging from small engineering teams to business units. He is currently a Hardware Architect at JITX, Inc working on electronic design automation for PCBs. He was VP of Engineering at Alea Labs, a startup in the smart home space working on disruptive HVAC technology. He was previously with Snypr, as CTO of the sports-focused technology startup. Prior companies include Integrated Device Technology, Mobius Microsystems, W5 Networks, and STMicroelectronics. He is familiar with a wide range of topics like chip design, embedded software, MEMs, mobile apps, cloud implementations, silicon processing, chip packaging. He has also worked on products ranging from silicon fingerprint sensors, low power wireless systems, high accuracy timing to smart home devices. He earned a BSEE from Univ of California at Berkeley and a MSEE and PhD from the California Institute of Technology. He resides in Palo Alto, CA.
