About Bhupesh Mahendru
As the Vice President of Quality at Dexcom, a global leader in diabetes care technology, I lead the global operations and supplier quality, compliance function for the company. I am responsible for a team of 400 quality professionals who ensure the highest standards of quality and safety for our innovative products and services. I have over 25 years of cross-functional leadership experience in medical devices and other highly regulated industries, with the last 15 years in Quality Management. I have a strong track record of implementing product Quality Engineering principles across product lifecycle and Quality Systems for Medical Device industry globally. I also have extensive experience of interacting with external regulatory agencies like FDA, TGA, Health Canada, and other notified bodies, and successfully managing product quality and post-market compliance issues. I hold a Master\'s degree in Regulatory Affairs and several certifications in Quality from ASQ, such as Certified Quality Engineering Manager, Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Biomedical Auditor, Certified Six Sigma Green Belt and Certified Quality Auditor. I also have the Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) Medical Device from RAPS, which demonstrates my proficiency and commitment in the dynamic field of regulatory affairs. My mission is to provide strategic direction and guidance for quality excellence and continuous improvement for Dexcom and its customers. I am passionate about delivering high-quality products and services that improve the lives of people with diabetes and empower them to take control of their health.
