Bhumip Khasnabish works on design/development/deployment of 5G/B5G and any-Cloud (xEC) based fully-automated intelligent systems for converting Data to Action (D2A) with embedded network forensics (https://about.me/bhumip). He worked in (a) Verizon 2 on 5G/MEC services innovation/realization (b) Futurewei on B5G, Industry relations/partnership, and opensource development,(c) ZTE on software-defined networking (SDN) and virtualization (e.g, NFV) based 5G and pre-6G networks, and smart devices/services,(d) Verizon1/GTE Labs on prototyping, standardizing, and deploying enhanced voice, data, and video services, and (e) Bell-Northern Research (BNR) Ltd. designing, implementing, and leading implementation of trunking, traffic management, and alarm generation software modules of Magellan Passport® multi-service frame cell switch.Bhumip authored books on VoIP Implementation and Multimedia Communications, and wrote chapters for books on NGN, Enterprise Networking, Multimedia Networking, and SmartGrid-2030.Bhumip also worked as a guest-editor of the special issues of Communications Magazine, Network, Multimedia, Wireless Communications, and Journal of Network and Systems Management (JNSM).
