Secured over $235K in external research funding through collaborations with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and the National Science Foundation to advance cutting-edge engineering projects. These efforts enhanced institutional resources, fostered innovation, and expanded research opportunities for both students and faculty. Performing multiscale modeling and stress analysis of advanced battery cathodes (Zn–Ag oxide, CNT composites, copper–CNT systems) in collaboration with Oak Ridge National Laboratory using finite element anaysis software ABAQUS. Applying Digital Image Correlation (DIC) to analyze strain mapping in fatigue-loaded samples. Teaching undergraduate students finite element analysis using Solidworks, Engineering Graphics, Statics, Dynamics, Solid Mechanics, Design of Machine Elements, Design Methodology and Capstone projects. Conducting nonlinear strain response analysis of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) by developing a dynamic finite element model of the human leg. Developed stress block to conduct three point bending testing for composite materials (Patented) Developed Exercise System Simulating Stand-Up Paddleboarding (Patented)
