As the Proposals Lead at Promation, I manage the end-to-end process of developing high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals for complex engineering and automation projects. My role bridges technical, commercial, and strategic functions to ensure every submission aligns with client expectations and Promation’s business objectives.Key Responsibilities:Lead the full proposal lifecycle — from reviewing RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs to coordinating inputs, finalizing documentation, and ensuring timely submission.Oversee proposal preparation and review processes in line with Promation’s internal quality standards and procedures.Ensure all submittals meet customer evaluation criteria, including technical compliance, schedule, pricing, and contractual terms.Facilitate regular proposal team meetings to align priorities, manage multiple concurrent pursuits, and maintain strong communication between departments.Manage compliance through client portals such as ARIBA and SLN’s GPS, ensuring alignment with internal processes.Collaborate closely with Applications Engineering and Business Development to gather strategic insights and shape customer specifications in Promation’s favor.Support and lead commercial negotiations covering payment terms, delivery schedules, and key contractual conditions.Conduct win/loss and lessons-learned analyses to enhance proposal strategy, competitiveness, and overall performance.Provide management with insights on proposal outcomes, industry trends, and customer feedback to guide strategic decision-making.Identify and qualify new business opportunities and contribute to capture planning for future bids.Represent Promation at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to support business development and brand visibility.Maintain consistency in proposal branding, structure, and messaging to reflect Promation’s professionalism and values.
