ABOUT BHOOMI J.
Bhoomi is a sophomore at UBC, majoring in English Literature. Passionate about experimenting with genres, she has published multiple pieces on various writing platforms. As an extension of writing, she also enjoys editing and refining others\' work. From 2021 to 2023, she received the Gold Peer Review tag and won Best Peer Review in the Flash Fiction Competition on Write the World.During high school, she led Pen Club, an initiative centered on writing as a means of self-discovery. She currently serves as a Reading Mentor with Learning Buddies Network, an NGO supporting underprivileged children. At UBC, she is the Newsletter Chief for the Slam Poetry Club and VP Marketing for the English Students’ Association.Her latest project explores craft blending by drawing connections between Toni Morrison’s Beloved and Edgar Allan Poe’s The Tell-Tale Heart.
