ABOUT BHAWNA MISHRA

I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Chemistry at the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), specializing in the field of structural biochemistry. My primary research focus revolves around elucidating the structural intricacies and functional characteristics of bacterial proteins. My academic journey has been marked by academic excellence, as reflected in my exceptional Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 8, positioning me among the top performers in my Master\'s in Science program.During my Master\'s studies, I dedicated myself to an in-depth exploration of organic synthesis methodologies, conducting rigorous research under the mentorship of Professor Sandip Murarka. I have also actively contributed to the field of education and chemistry as a subject matter expert at Evelyn Learnings Pvt Ltd. This experience allowed me to not only deepen my own understanding of the subject but also to impart knowledge to others.Furthermore, my commitment to scientific discovery led me to engage in a three-month internship under the guidance of Professor Sandip Dhawan, a distinguished senior scientist, where I delved into the realm of conducting polymers.My scientific journey is characterized by an unwavering enthusiasm to explore the boundless frontiers of research. I am eager to contribute my knowledge and efforts to advance our understanding of the natural world and unearth novel findings in the realm of chemistry and structural biochemistry.I have also qualified national Level Tests like CSIR/ Gate / IITJAM with stellar ranks.
