About Bhawna
Bhawna, born and brought up in Chandigarh, alumni of prestigious school Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chandigarh. Active NSS volunteer and NCC Cadet at both school and college level. Awarded as “Best All rounder Student\" in graduation, completed her PG in Sociology from Panjab University, Chandigarh. After PG, she joined Gandhi Fellowship in pursuit of understanding Self and Problems at grass root level. As a fellow she had been working directly with the Block level officials. Being exposed to the Development sector she found her interest in solving societal issues specifically related to Women, Children, Youth and marginalized sections of society. To understand their issues more deeply she started her research journey and currently she is pursuing PhD in Sociology subject from Panjab University Chandigarh.
