About Bhawani Singh

Every story can change the world, and every voice should be heard.” I have been working towards my Bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communication at JECRC University, Jaipur as I have a strong interest in storytelling, public communication and impactful journalism. Since school, I have been an active participant in academic and co-curricular activities.so always willing to learn, lead and give back. At university, I extended this journey by taking on roles of leadership and responsibility. Currently, I am working as the Head of Operations in NSS Unit with teams to organise social initiatives & community activities. Additionally, I am serving as the Co-Representative in Upscale and Class Representative, which enables me to represent and facilitate student voices among classmates and faculty members.In addition to my academic experience, I’m gaining practical expirence through my YouTube channel “Journalist Journey,” where I share the journey of an aspiring journalist. Using this platform, I write about local stories, community issues and real-life experiences in a bid to help amplify grassroots voices. Right now I am working on improving my editing skills, to build a vocabulary as far as how the ends of a public message will operate not just in a written format; building better aesthetics around visual emphasis and narrative through photography. I deeply believe that journalism is the doing of reporting,highlighting truth, and creating awareness in society.
