Currently, I am employed as a Data Scientist at SmartHelio, a Y-combinator-backed clean-tech startup based in Lausanne, Switzerland. I joined SmartHelio as one of its earliest employees, back when we were just running simple algorithms on a laptop, dreaming of turning raw solar data into something smarter. Fast forward a few years, and I’ve had the rare opportunity to help shape that dream into a full-fledged production-grade software product used across continents.As a Data Scientist, I’ve worn many hats, from writing ETL pipelines from scratch, building ML models that predict faults with 95%+ accuracy, designing dashboards for real-time insights, and migrating those early experiments into scalable microservices on AWS.I’ve built and optimized data systems using tools like Python, SQL, Pandas, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS (Lambda, ECS, RDS, SageMaker).
