It is an incredible honour to have been invited to become a \'Pride 365 Champion Certified\'. I have advocated for the LGBTQ+ Community for decades from my days as a lecturer in FE supporting students struggling with their sexuality, though working in the public, private and voluntary sectors. My own struggle with my sexuality further highlighted the detrimental impact on physical and mental health not to mention on my career and livelihood having been run out of a job by a homophobic manager. Being a Pride 365 Champion is an opportunity to inform good ethical, inclusive and affirmative practice in serving our LGBTQ+ community globally through training, consultancy in organisations world-wide. As a veteran Therapist, Coach, Trainer, Speaker, Supervisor and proud Gay Indian Woman representing my LGBTQ+ family, I work with and adhere to strict Codes of Ethical Practice to ensure everyone is treated professionally, courteously and with respect. Having celebrated my 50th year with that of Pride in 2022, I am even more committed to show up, speak up, be SEEN and heard so that no other child, teen or adult has to sit and contemplate whether to live another day or not because they are LGBTQIAA+. EVERYONE has a right to choose whom they love without threat of ex-communication, violence or fear. Love is Love. Love is a Human Right For ALL.Always and forever.
