As an Internal Medicine attending physician at UMass Memorial Medical Center, I serve in multiple clinical and leadership roles that directly impact patient care and healthcare operations. I completed my residency at the University of Massachusetts, with prior medical training at the University of New England and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brandeis University. Before entering the medical field, I gained industry experience at Biogen Idec and MEDITECH.At UMass Memorial, I lead as the North Pavilion Site Director, overseeing daily clinical operations, patient flow, and resource management. My role focuses on optimizing care delivery while aligning with hospital-wide objectives. As a member of the Executive Council, I contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes that influence the hospital medicine division.As a Physician Advisor, I collaborate with clinical teams and case management to ensure efficient care coordination and regulatory compliance, while advocating for patient-centered approaches. I am also part of the Hospitalist at Home program, providing hospital-level care to patients in their homes.In addition to these roles, I oversee operations in the Pavilion Units 2/3 and serve as a teaching attending, mentoring medical students and residents. I recently completed the Physician Leadership Development Program, further honing my leadership skills in clinical settings.My work allows me to enhance both the quality of care and the operational efficiency of our healthcare system.
