Responsibilities as Manager- Contracts & Procurement:> Identification of prospective bidders following Pre-Qualification process, tendering in Two Bid system, conducting pre-bid meeting, bid evaluation and award of contract, assistance internal stake holder to develop KPI (Key Performance Indicator) for successful bidder, Post Award Contract Management, Change order management and Contract close out.>The Contracts are inclusive of but not limited to all Contracts related to smooth operation of LNG Terminal and Port operation, various EPC or EPCM Contract, Feed and PMC for brownfield project, AMC with OEM for key equipment, call of contract related to hiring of manpower/experts required for installation / commissioning / testing, rapid response in case of emergency etc, third party inspecting services, Stakeholder management for local content, Consultancy Service for Custom Clearance, event management etc.> Focal point for all type of Contracts and Procurement for plant OPEX and CAPEX in house projects for PETRONET LNG, Dahej terminal. The overall spent is USD 30 million. Devised effective Contracting strategies and plan. Carry out Contractors Performance Evaluation. Major achievement: 1) Saving of 27% in overall Contracting due to change in Contracting Terms, modification in Schedule of Price and Scope of work and without compromising quality of desire output 2) Overall Saving of 23% thru negotiation with OEM – Contract for Goods and Services Studies consumption pattern to operate warehouse/stores & handles overall receipt, maintenance, & issue of materials. >Attends various external & internal audits to ensure compliance with norms and resolve issues. > Organises weekly/ monthly review meetings along with presentations to highlight accomplishments.
