My key responsibilities include: Manage General Ledger: Handle all aspects of general ledger accounting and maintenance, ensuring all data entries and transactions are accurate. Account Reconciliations: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations for various accounts, including balance sheets, bank statements, and sub-ledgers (Accounts Payable/Receivable). Journal Entries: Prepare, review, and post journal vouchers, including entries for accruals, amortizations, revaluations,depreciation, and pre-paids. Month-End/Year-End Close: Do the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to ensure financial statements are prepared accurately and on time. Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data and statements to identify variances, ensure accuracy, and provide reports to management. Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure all financial records and processes comply with internal controls, accounting policies (e.g, IFRS), and regulatory standards. Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. Tax Preparation: Assist in the preparation of tax documents and filings as needed.
