About Bhavesh Mandhan

My journey in software engineering began with a fascination for solving puzzles which I have been doing for a long time now and a PC with linux booted up in it. I’ve been trying to learn and expand my knowledge over many areas in Software, Tech and entrepreneurship ever since and over the years, my fascination transformed into a career that I’am deeply passionate about. At Oracle, I have gotten a chance to work on a variety of projects, including a good amount of design, testing, frontend and API development and configuring infra simultaneously under some great mentors, while being both an intern as well as a full time employee. At NITT, irrespective of studying my majors in a non CSE field, I was chosen to be a part of the Technical community of our college Delta, where we were responsible to handle all the software related duties for our college and it’s national tech and cultural festivals - Pragyan, Festember and NITTFest. In my final year, I was chosen to be a core member and headed all the reliability projects. I was responsible for the maintenance, security and proper backups of all the on-premise servers. I even mentored over 20+ of our juniors through my grad years. I was also one of HackerRank Software interns in the pre-final year of my college where I contributed to their main HackerRank for work platform. I worked alongside great mentors and delivered a critical project which increased the platform’s efficiency by around 30%. With almost 4 years of experience in this field now, I’ve worn many hats - coder, tester, strategist, mentor, designer. I find that this multidimensional view helps me to approach problems from different angles and come up with innovative solutions. When I’m not engrossed in lines of code, I am a hobbyist musician, fitness enthusiast and a writer. I believe in a hard-working yet balanced life, and these activities help me stay grounded and provide a fresh perspective.    At Oracle India, I owned and delivered the Blackouts Management service, focusing on performance, reliability, and seamless integration with core systems. I streamlined deployments through automation and infra improvements, and drove the migration from ADE to GitHub by building modern CI/CD pipelines that boosted release velocity and reliability.Beyond backend work, I built a shared component framework adopted across teams, standardising UI development and enabling the move to client-side rendering. I also modernised critical tooling and libraries for the latest JDK, resolving complex dependency issues and introducing automated compatibility testing to strengthen long-term stability.
