ABOUT BHAVESH KUMAR SHARMA

I’m a Civil & Environmental Engineering graduate student at Purdue University with hands-on experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects, from treatment plant process reviews to sewer and water supply system design. Over the past few years, I’ve worked on projects involving hydraulic modeling, WWTP cost estimation, and drainage system planning, while also reviewing plant drawings and optimizing designs for efficiency and sustainability. My internship and project work have given me exposure to treatment processes, interceptor alignment, and distribution system upgrades, reinforcing my interest in plant design and process optimization. I’m particularly passionate about improving treatment plant performance, reducing water loss, and contributing to resilient, sustainable infrastructure systems that directly serve communities.
